Our perpetual license is good for an unlimited period of time after you pay the one time, up-front fee. After the first year, you can choose to pay for on-going updates and support. In order to encourage customers to keep their support plans active, we charge a reinstatement fee, in addition to the annual support fee, if there has been a significant period since your support lapsed. The majority of our customers choose to remain on support to protect their software investment.
