Activate your USB Key

If you have a perpetual license, lease or subscription and you use a security key on your USB port, you will need to re-activate the key.

In order to use Taper-Plus 8.7, LWC-Plus 8.7, TopView ME 9.6, TopView LE 9.6 or any higher versions, you need to activate your Sentinel SuperPro security key (pictured above). If you don't use a security key on your USB port, you don't need to worry about this.

Note to perpetual licensees: Even though your license to use our software is valid in perpetuity, we ask that you reactivate your key periodically to limit your liability in case the key is lost or stolen.

To activate your USB security key

When you first start the software, a dialog box opens prompting you to update your USB key User Code.

Select the field containing the user code.
Press <CTRL>+C to copy the text.
Open an e-mail addressed to support@asrsoft.com.
Press <CTRL>+V to paste the text into the body of the e-mail.
Send the e-mail. We'll e-mail back an update code as soon as possible.
When you receive the new code, copy it into the Update Code box, and start using the software.
